Leap Playground

Leap Playground has recently been enhanced with the addition of new playground equipment designed to complement the existing play facilities and expand the range of activities available for children of all ages.

The upgrade includes a new junior play unit for younger children, along with an exciting spacenet climbing structure with an integrated slide to challenge older and more adventurous climbers. Additional features such as new swings, rockers, monkey bars, and interactive sensory play panels provide plenty of opportunities for imaginative, active, and inclusive play.

To ensure the playground remains safe and durable, we also installed wetpour rubber safety surfacing throughout the play area. Coloured EPDM wetpour rubber has been used in the areas with the highest footfall, creating a hard-wearing surface that provides excellent impact protection while adding a vibrant finish beneath the equipment.

This playground upgrade in West Cork has transformed Leap Playground into a more engaging and inclusive space for the local community, ensuring children can enjoy safe, high-quality play for many years to come.
