Ballydehob Playground

Ballydehob Playground has been given a fresh lease of life following a recent upgrade by Browne Brothers. Here we installed a new range of play equipment including a unit, roundabout, swings, spinners, rockers and interactive play panels, creating a vibrant space that offers plenty of play value for children of all ages and abilities.

The updated playground has been carefully designed to encourage active, imaginative and inclusive play, ensuring that children can explore, socialise and develop their skills in a safe and engaging environment.

As part of the upgrade, we installed a new resin-bound EPDM safety surface throughout the playground to provide a durable, impact-absorbing base beneath the equipment. Coloured EPDM surfacing has been incorporated in areas with the highest footfall, helping to highlight key play zones while also improving long-term durability in the most heavily used areas.

With modern equipment, improved surfacing and a focus on safe, inclusive play, the upgraded Ballydehob Playground will continue to serve the local community for many years to come.
